It was a great 1st week at our Learning Pods. Kids expressed how much the loved being in a quieter environment than some of their homes, access to internet, tutors & being able to play outside during recess & lunch.
Kids are showing up early. Many come for breakfast before school starts.
Our new Learning Pods provide struggling kids with a chance
When we were forced to close our Learning Center in March due to Covid19, we had 90 kids registered in our free tutoring & food program.
Today we are extremely limited in how many kids we can serve because of restrictions and limited space.
It breaks our heart to think so many more kids are in need. We will add more students as we can. In the meantime we will do our best to help those here now.
Our new Learning Pods provide struggling kids with a chance. They have access to free wifi, tutors, breakfast, lunch & a take home lunch bag.
