5 years ago, when we had to meet next to a run down building across the street. We often don’t have enough room for all the kids that show up, but that doesn’t stop us. We will meet wherever we can to share the love of Jesus!
Always a joy to have our former campers stop by to say hi. This young man used to be in our program. He just finished his 2nd yr of college. Way to go Paisley!!
Our JSTEP students have been leading our morning devotions. Todays devo: Though the world may seem to be falling apart, as a child or God, we can be securely held in The Father’s Arms.
We had an incredible time at our JSTEP Retreat!
Learning the meaning of our names: Warrior, Leader, Noble, Forgiving, Kind, loved by God…it wasn’t difficult for us to see what God sees in them.
For God So loved The World That He gave His only Son

We celebrated our dear friend Ms Marion today
We celebrated our dear friend Ms Marion today. She lost her battle with cancer & went home to be with Jesus last week. If you’ve been to our Cajun Thanksgiving Outreach and tasted that delicious gumbo…she had a big big part in making it happen year after year. She was one of the first people we met after Hurricane Katrina. We were strangers to her, but almost immediately she gave us a key to her home. She welcomed us into the neighbourhood with open arms. She meant so much to us! We will miss you!
