JSTEP

JSTEP (Junior Student Training & Enrichment Program) empowers young people ages 13–18 to become indigenous leaders in their community. Through mentorship, discipleship, and hands-on service, students discover their God-given purpose and develop the skills to live it out.

Our Mission

  • Train and equip youth to walk closely with God.
  • Develop young leaders within Jesus Project Ministries and beyond.
  • Engage students in meaningful community service and mission work.
  • Prepare youth for education, careers, and purposeful living.

What We Do

During the School Year

Students serve in community outreaches, assist at the Apple Street Learning Center, participate in Tuesday Treasure Financial Literacy classes, and grow in biblical and leadership foundations.

Summer Leadership Program

Each summer, JSTEP students apply for paid leadership positions helping to run our 9-week Summer Bible Camp.
They lead small groups, mentor younger children, and gain valuable job experience, all while growing spiritually and personally.

Leadership Retreat

Our annual Leadership Retreat provides JSTEP youth the opportunity to step away from the city, fostering growth in faith and leadership. Through worship, team challenges, and outdoor adventure, students experience personal transformation and deepen their walk with God.

We believe our city’s next great leaders are already here; they just need someone to invest in them.”
